Who We Are
AL-AMEEN Welfare Foundation (AAWF) is a Ghana-based Islamic non-profit organization committed to serving humanity through education, humanitarian assistance, Islamic outreach, youth empowerment, and community development.
The name "AL-AMEEN" (ุงูุฃู ูู) means "The Trustworthy" โ reflecting our commitment to integrity, accountability, compassion, and transparency in all that we do.
AAWF was established and registered with the Registrar General of Ghana under the Companies Act 2019 (Act 992) on January 19, 2023. The Foundation exists to serve people without discrimination, regardless of color, caste, sex, creed, religion, or nationality.
Our headquarters is located in Greater Accra, Ghana, with a mission to expand our humanitarian and community development work across the country.

Our Vision
To educate young men and women in Muslim and Zongo communities and across Ghana as a whole โ empowering the next generation through knowledge, skills, and opportunity.
Our Mission
To teach and advocate Islam to people who want to learn about or embrace Islam, while addressing misconceptions about the religion through peaceful, respectful, and educational outreach.
Specific Objectives
Help combat poverty with the resources available in our communities.
Address issues of poverty that hinder child survival, growth, and development through various interventions and strategic alliances.
Receive funds from international and national donors, individuals, corporates, and governments for humanitarian rehabilitation and social integration of children.
Organize outreach programs such as excursions, sporting activities, and other initiatives that promote peaceful coexistence within communities.
Provide a forum for the exchange of ideas on the social, cultural, and educational conditions of our societies.
Work sincerely for people and humanity without discrimination, including color, caste, sex, creed, religion, or nationality.
Collaborate with other NGOs and organizations working towards similar goals for greater collective impact.

Our Official Constitution
AL-AMEEN Welfare Foundation operates under a formal constitution that governs our organizational structure, objectives, leadership, and operations. The document was signed in June 2024 and forms part of the Foundation's commitment to accountability and transparency.
We publish our constitution to promote transparency and allow donors, partners, members, and community stakeholders to understand how AAWF operates.
